Okay Airways is the first private airline in China. Its primary location is in Shunyi District, Beijing, People's Republic of China, and its main hub is at Tianjin Binhai International Airport in Tianjin. Okay Airways began flying in June 2004. It currently offers charter services and flights to add regular passenger and dedicated cargo services in the future. Okay Airways got a business licence to operate as an air carrier from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in February 2005, the following year. On March 11, 2005, 81 passengers took the carrier's first flight from its base in Tianjin to Changsha. The launch customers for the Xian MA700 flight were revealed to be Okay Airways and Joy Air. They will develop the flight, which will begin flying in 2017. Okay Airways has a Boeing 737-800s and 737-300s fleet that fly on over 100 flights in the United States and other countries. Beijing Capital International Airport is in Shunyi District, 32 kilometres northeast of downtown Beijing. It's China's largest international airport. Since 2010, more passngers than any other Asian airport have gone through this one. During the People's Republic of China, it was the first airport for civil aviation. At first, the airport only had one small terminal building, mostly used for private flights and high-level passengers. There are now three piers at the airport. In 2012, the number of passengers it could handle hit 73,770,000. It became the second busiest airport in the world, after the US's Atlanta Airport. For many years to come, Okay Airways plans to be one of the biggest carriers in China, which makes the future look very bright. Getting five new 787-9 jets shows how serious Okay is about their plans to grow and get into the long-haul business. As the world market grows, it's great to see China try to get a big piece of the travel market. Regarding China, Okay Airways is still the best and sets a high standard for other Chinese carriers.
